Cryptocurrency commerce Kraken has obtained an Electronic Money Institution (EMI) license from the Central Financial institution of Eire and a digital asset service provider (VASP) registration from the Financial institution of Spain.
Per the Sept. 26 announcement, the EMI license lets in Kraken to amplify euro-to-crypto shopping and selling companies and products to 27 European Union member states and European Financial Space worldwide locations. In the meantime, the VASP registration in Spain lets in Kraken to present commerce and pockets custodial companies and products to Spanish residents.
