U.S. Ethereum ETFs Return to Inflows as Fidelity Draws $26.2M

Ethereum ETFs Add $29.4M Friday As Fidelity Leads Reported Flows

U.S. spot Ethereum exchange-traded funds recorded $29.4 million in net inflows on September 18, ending a three-session run of outflows, according to Farside Investors data.

Fidelity’s FETH accounted for the majority of the day’s activity, attracting $26.2 million. Bitwise’s ETHW added $1.3 million, while VanEck’s ETHV brought in $1.9 million. The remaining funds reported no net flows during the session.

Small recovery after heavy withdrawals

Friday’s positive result followed substantial redemptions earlier in the week. Ethereum ETFs saw $142 million leave on September 15, another $224.1 million in outflows on September 16 and a further $39.3 million withdrawn on September 17.

As a result, the latest inflow recovered only a limited portion of the $405.4 million that exited the products over the previous three sessions. BlackRock’s ETHA, which had been among the larger sources of outflows earlier in the week, recorded no net movement on September 18.

The differing activity among issuers highlights how ETF flows can reflect portfolio reallocations and the timing of fund creations and redemptions, rather than tracking activity in Ethereum’s spot market directly.

Investors remain selective

The return to positive flows suggests that demand for regulated Ethereum exposure has not disappeared, although the single-session figure is not yet evidence of a broader trend reversal. Further sessions will show whether inflows spread across more issuers or remain concentrated in Fidelity’s product.
