Korea Blockchain Week 2026 will bring exchanges, blockchain infrastructure providers, stablecoin companies and institutional digital asset firms together in Seoul, with organizer FACTBLOCK announcing Upbit as the event’s presenting partner.
The partner lineup, announced on August 31, also includes 0G and BRV as convention partners, Steady and Tria as Diamond Sponsors, and BitGo as the conference’s institutional sponsor. Executives from each of the participating companies are scheduled to speak during the event.
Executives from Upbit, 0G and BitGo to speak
Kyoungsuk Oh, CEO of Upbit, will discuss developments in the global digital asset market and Korea’s role in the sector. FACTBLOCK said the partnership is intended to broaden KBW2026’s discussion of Korea’s market beyond retail participation and toward institutions and international financial markets.
Michael Heinrich, co-founder and CEO of 0G Labs, will address the growth of the agent economy and the role of decentralized infrastructure in AI. 0G describes its platform as an AI-focused infrastructure layer combining verifiable compute, private inference, decentralized storage and an AI-native blockchain.
BitGo will participate as the event’s institutional sponsor, with co-founder and CEO Mike Belshe among the scheduled speakers. BitGo Korea, whose strategic shareholders include Hana Financial Group and SK Telecom, recently received acceptance of its Virtual Asset Service Provider registration from South Korea’s Financial Intelligence Unit.
Stablecoins and cross-chain finance on the agenda
Steady CEO Brian Mehler and Tria co-founder and chief strategy officer John Lilic will also take part in the conference. Steady is developing blockchain infrastructure for stablecoin payments and transfers, while Tria is building financial infrastructure designed to let companies and AI agents transact across blockchains and digital assets through its stablecoin-focused neobank.
BRV’s participation adds an international investment perspective to the event’s partner network. FACTBLOCK said the lineup reflects the digital asset industry’s expansion beyond trading and investment into institutional finance, payments, stablecoins, artificial intelligence and infrastructure.
KBW2026 will take place in Seoul from September 29 to October 1. The invitation-only Upbit Institutional Summit is scheduled for September 29, followed by the main Korea Blockchain Week conference from September 30 to October 1.
