TRON DAO has expanded MetaMask access across several major applications on its network, allowing users to connect the self-custodial wallet to B.AI, SUN.io, JustLend DAO and BitTorrent services.
The development follows MetaMask’s launch of native TRON support across its mobile app and browser extension earlier this year. Users can now use the wallet to interact with additional TRON-based applications without switching to a different custody solution.
Four applications add MetaMask access
B.AI provides financial infrastructure for autonomous AI agents, including identity and transaction capabilities designed for machine-driven payments and on-chain execution. SUN.io, a decentralized finance platform on TRON, supports MetaMask connections for access to SunSwap V4, its decentralized exchange and automated market maker. The platform reports more than $650 million in total value locked.
JustLend DAO, TRON’s lending protocol, supports borrowing, lending and staking and holds more than $7 billion in total value locked. BitTorrent extends the ecosystem’s infrastructure through cross-chain services on BitTorrent Chain and decentralized storage via the BitTorrent File System.
“By increasing MetaMask dApp connectivity across TRON ecosystem applications, we’re giving users more ways to interact with TRON through a wallet they already know and use,” said Sam Elfarra, a community spokesperson for TRON DAO.
MetaMask Ecosystem Engagement Manager Dan Rosario said native TRON support gives users greater flexibility while retaining control associated with self-custody.
TRON’s stablecoin role
TRON describes itself as a major settlement network for stablecoins. The blockchain processes more than $23 billion in average daily transfer volume and hosts over $94 billion in circulating USDT, according to the announcement.
As of September 2026, TRON had recorded more than 402 million total accounts, over 15 billion transactions and more than $27 billion in total value locked, based on figures cited from TRONSCAN. The network’s expanded wallet compatibility is intended to give users broader access to these applications through a familiar interface.
