Dogecoin Holds Above $0.096 as ETF Inflows Support Cautious Recovery

Dogecoin tops $0.096 as ETF inflows and derivatives signal bettering sentiment

Dogecoin was trading above $0.096 on Monday as continued ETF inflows and slightly more bullish derivatives positioning supported its recovery. The move remains technically fragile, however, with DOGE needing to hold the $0.093 area and clear resistance near $0.102 to establish stronger momentum.

ETF products post a third consecutive week of inflows

Dogecoin ETFs recorded net inflows of $327,360 last week, according to SoSoValue data. It was the third consecutive week of positive flows, indicating that exposure through these products has continued to increase.

The inflows provide a supportive backdrop for DOGE, although they represent only one part of the broader market. The data does not establish that all of the buying came from institutional investors, nor does it show whether ETF demand exceeded selling elsewhere. A further increase in inflows could strengthen the recovery case, while a slowdown or reversal would remove an important source of support.

Derivatives sentiment improves but remains balanced

CoinGlass data showed Dogecoin’s long-to-short ratio at 1.01 on Monday, just above the neutral level. That reading points to a modest preference for long positions rather than a strongly bullish market.

DOGE’s funding rate also turned positive on September 10 and reached 0.0092% on Monday. Positive funding means long traders are paying short traders in perpetual futures markets, typically reflecting greater demand for bullish exposure. Still, funding and positioning measures describe current market participation rather than guaranteeing future price gains. A weakening spot market could put leveraged long positions under pressure.

$0.093 remains the key technical level

Dogecoin’s short-term recovery structure remains intact while the token trades above its 200-day exponential moving average, which is near $0.093. The 50-day and 100-day EMAs are lower, at approximately $0.088 and $0.086, respectively. Trading above all three averages currently favors the recovery view.

Momentum indicators are mixed. The Relative Strength Index is near 58, showing positive momentum without an overbought reading, while the Moving Average Convergence Divergence indicator has moved slightly into negative territory. The combination suggests that DOGE may need to consolidate before attempting a more forceful advance.

A sustained move above $0.102, roughly 6% above $0.096, would improve the outlook and signal that buyers are overcoming the first major resistance zone. If DOGE falls below $0.093, attention would shift to support around $0.088 and the nearby 50-day EMA, followed by the $0.086 area and a more distant structural floor near $0.070.

For now, Dogecoin’s outlook is cautiously constructive: ETF demand and derivatives positioning have improved, but the recovery still depends on defending $0.093 and breaking through $0.102.
