KuCoin is bringing back its Spotlight token-launch program with a pre-listing subscription for Gno.land’s native GNOT token. The offering covers 7,751,938 GNOT at a fixed subscription price of $0.0645 per token, giving eligible users access before trading begins.
The sale uses an oversubscription model with pro-rata distribution. Rather than allocating tokens through a first-come, first-served process or a lottery, KuCoin will determine each participant’s allocation based on their committed subscription amount. Users who complete a valid subscription are eligible to receive an allocation, although the final amount may be reduced if demand exceeds the available supply.
Subscriptions available in KCS, USDT and USDG
Participants can subscribe using KCS, USDT or USDG. KuCoin says users paying with KCS may qualify for a discount of up to 10%. Flexibly staked KCS can also be used directly without first being unstaked.
The campaign also introduces a conditional post-listing buyback option. Users can choose to participate during the subscription process, and qualifying allocations may be eligible for an automated buyback at the original $0.0645 subscription price if the stated conditions are met during the seven days after listing.
Gno.land expands the Spotlight lineup
Gno.land is an open-source Layer 1 blockchain developed by NewTendermint. Its network is built around Gno, a deterministic variant of Go designed for on-chain applications. GNOT is used to pay for gas, storage deposits, smart-contract execution and cross-chain interactions.
Eligible KuCoin customers can access the Spotlight section through their accounts, select GNOT and complete a subscription with one of the three supported payment assets. The buyback mechanism is optional and must be selected during the subscription process.
