Nottingham Forest have reportedly made an approach for Crystal Palace goalkeeper Dean Henderson as they explore a possible return for the former loanee.
Henderson spent the 2022-23 season at the City Ground after joining Forest on loan from Manchester United. He started 18 Premier League matches before an injury ended his campaign prematurely.
The 29-year-old moved to Crystal Palace permanently on 31 August 2023 in a deal worth an initial £15 million, with a further £5 million available in add-ons. Since then, he has established himself as Palace’s first-choice goalkeeper and was appointed club captain in January 2026.
Transfermarkt currently values Henderson at approximately €28 million, meaning Forest would likely need to make a significant offer to persuade Palace to sell their captain and starting goalkeeper.
Forest continue Palace recruitment
Forest’s interest in Henderson follows another major deal between the clubs. The Midlands side recently agreed to pay £22 million plus add-ons for Colombian wing-back Daniel Munoz.
Palace are also reportedly in talks to extend Henderson’s contract. Losing him in the same transfer window as Munoz would leave the South London club facing further pressure to strengthen its squad.
