Solana Records More Than 263,000 Tokens Issued in a Single Day

Solana sees file 263K tokens issued in a single day

The Solana network recorded more than 263,000 newly issued Solana Program Library (SPL) tokens on Wednesday, setting a new daily record, according to blockchain data.

Daily token issuance previously peaked at roughly 40,000 to 50,000 tokens during the memecoin cycle in December 2024.

Launchpads drive issuance

Launchpads accounted for 40,360 of the tokens issued, with Pump.fun responsible for 34,184 of them. These platforms automate token creation and can provide new projects with initial liquidity and visibility, allowing users to launch tokens without extensive technical expertise.

Pump.fun remains one of Solana’s leading protocols by daily revenue, generating about $1.8 million over the previous 24 hours, according to DeFiLlama data. Its daily revenue was briefly surpassed last Friday by Fomo, a cryptocurrency trading app that combines trading tools with social features.

Pump.fun generated $124 million in revenue during the first quarter of 2026, representing about one-third of Solana’s total revenue of $342 million, despite a broader cooling in memecoin activity.
