ApeX Omni is building a yield-focused product layer around its decentralized perpetual trading platform, giving users ways to deploy capital without opening and managing trades themselves. The offering combines community-managed vaults, a protocol-operated vault, APEX staking and automated grid strategies.
Each product draws returns from a different source, meaning performance depends on factors ranging from trader execution and market activity to protocol fees and token lock-up periods. ApeX’s own documentation also warns that none of the products is risk-free.
Community vaults connect traders with capital
ApeX Vaults allow experienced traders to manage capital supplied by other users. Vault creators determine and execute their strategies, while investors receive a proportional share of realised profits. Creators can earn up to 10% of investor profits, with the fee charged only on realised gains.
Changes introduced in April 2025 removed individual investment caps, allowing creators to attract unlimited investor capital. The minimum amount required to launch a vault was also reduced to 100 USDT.
Investors can review each vault’s historical daily, weekly and monthly returns, current positions and exposure, maximum drawdown, profit-and-loss attribution and the creator’s trading history. Redemptions become available after a 24-hour holding period. For systematic strategies, ApeX offers a Vault Key that enables API-based trading, allowing algorithms to manage entries, exits and rebalancing.
Protocol Vault distributes liquidation-fee income
The Protocol Vault is operated by ApeX itself and uses a different yield model. It distributes 100% of the daily liquidation fees generated by Omni Perp trading across the platform.
Users deposit USDT and receive shares based on the current net asset value. Their portion of liquidation-fee income is reflected in the vault’s NAV daily at 08:05 UTC. There is no lock-up, and users can redeem at any time, with principal and accrued yield returned to their Perp Account.
The minimum purchase is more than 10 USDT, while the individual deposit limit is 1 million USDT. ApeX raised the total vault capacity to 20 million USDT in August 2025. Because returns depend on liquidation activity, the yield can change as trading volume and market conditions shift.
ApeX also offers a new-user incentive that pays 50% APY on a first-time depositor’s initial 1,000 USDT for five days. After that period, the principal and bonus are automatically transferred into the standard Protocol Vault. The promotion has no stated expiry date and is funded by a 300,000 USDT incentive pool that replenishes as five-day allocations mature.
APEX staking ties rewards to platform income
APEX staking provides another way to earn from ApeX activity. Since the launch of Staking 4.0 in February 2025, rewards have been paid in APEX and funded through weekly token buybacks using trading-fee income.
According to ApeX platform figures, more than 16.5 million APEX has been repurchased, while staking distributions have exceeded 3 million USDC and 1.9 million APEX.
Rewards are determined by the amount staked, the lock-up period and, in some cases, trading activity. A three-month lock receives the base multiplier, while six months, 12 months and 24 months receive 2x, 4x and 8x multipliers respectively. Users can receive an additional multiplier of up to 0.5 by trading at least once per day on five days during the weekly epoch.
Epochs run from Monday to Monday at 08:00 UTC, rewards begin accruing on the day of staking and claims open each Thursday. Staked APEX also counts toward VIP fee-tier qualification.
Grid bots target range-bound markets
For users seeking automated exposure rather than a discretionary trading strategy, ApeX Omni’s Grid Bot places laddered limit orders within a defined price range. The system is designed to buy at lower levels and sell at higher levels as the market moves within that range.
The bot supports every USDT perpetual pair on ApeX Omni, as well as long, short and neutral modes. Users can choose arithmetic or geometric grid spacing and set take-profit and stop-loss triggers that execute through market orders. Multiple bots can run simultaneously across different pairs or price ranges, both on the web platform and mobile application.
Because the strategy primarily uses resting limit orders, trades may receive maker-fee treatment. However, a strong directional move can leave a bot outside its intended range, while leverage can increase liquidation risk.
Returns remain dependent on market and protocol conditions
Community vaults expose investors to the risks of the selected trader’s strategy, and historical performance does not guarantee future results. Protocol Vault returns depend on liquidation activity, while staking distributions are linked to platform fee income and each participant’s share of the reward pool.
ApeX Protocol is a decentralized, non-custodial perpetual derivatives platform incubated by Davion Labs. Its flagship ApeX Omni interface combines crypto and TradFi perpetuals, prediction markets and yield products across multiple blockchains. The platform’s yield suite is therefore positioned as a way to participate in exchange activity without directly managing every trade, rather than as a substitute for risk management.
